Calgary Chapter
Current Member Count: 70
Calgary is the second largest municipality in Canada, with a total area of 721 square kilometres, and a population of ~1 million. Located in the foothills of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, Calgary is one of the fastest-growing, most dynamic and youthful cities in Western Canada. Known for its breathtaking mountain views, famous western roots and hospitality, Calgary is a great place to live and work.
The Calgary Chapter of CACCN started as an interest group in October of 1992, and became a formal chapter on March 4, 1993. Through the years, it has been committed to providing educational sessions, workshops, and conferences. Currently, the Calgary Chapter is a dynamic organization with a hardworking, visionary, and passionate executive. Continuing education, fundraising, and increasing our partnerships with critical care nurses from across the region are included in our mandate. We are proud of what we accomplish, and have fun in the process. Like our city, we work hard, achieve much, and celebrate our successes.
