Edmonton, Alberta's Capital City, is located on the North Saskatchewan River and home to North America's largest urban parkland at 7400 hectares. Edmonton's River Valley contains 22 city parks and 150 km of trails. Edmonton is also famous for its festivals, with over 30 each year. Edmonton's most popular festivals include the Folk Music Festival, the Capital Ex, and the International Fringe Theater Festival.
We are committed to supporting our local chapter membership in professional development. Continuing education, integral to the acquisition of new knowledge and professional development, is an important factor in fostering the best possible nursing care. To this end, the Greater Edmonton Chapter encourages continuing education and will assist its members financially to attend critical care education programs.
