On behalf of the London Regional Chapter, CACCN, we would like to thank Joan Rivard and Ann Marie Molnar for their hard work and commitment. Joan has completed a long and dedicated term, most recently as Past President and President. Ann Marie has completed a two year term as secretary. Thank you!

We would also like to welcome our newest executive member, Jane Moore, from Stratford General Hospital. We are thrilled to have extended our executive representation into one of the community hospitals in our region. We are still looking to recruit a Vice President for our Chapter.

Region Represented

The London Regional Chapter was introduced in 1984, and represents critical care nurses in the London and Southwestern Ontario Region. We provide educational and networking opportunities to critical care nurses who live in London and surrounding communities, as well as to those who live north of Lake Erie to Sudbury and west of Kitchener to Windsor.

Funding Opportunities for London Regional Chapter Members:

  • Dynamics 2011:
    • LRC members who register for the full Dynamics program will be eligible.
    • Drop your name in the London Regional Chapter ballot at the Dynamics 2011 registration desk by 1200 hrs, Monday, October 17, 2011.
    • 12 names from members who have belonged to the LRC for > 1 year will be drawn for a $300 rebate.
    • 3 names from members who have belonged to the LRC for < 1 year will be drawn for $300 rebate.
    • Rebates will be available at the registration desk Tuesday, October 18, 2011.
  • CNCC(C) new certification (adult or pedicatrics):
    • Notify chapter by December 31, 2011 of 2011 certification. The name of one newly certified LRC member will be drawn for reimbursement.
    • Did not receive reimbursement from another source.
  • CNCC(C) recertification (adult or pediatrics):
    • Notify chapter by December 31, 2011 of 2011 recertification. The name of one newly recertified LRC member will be drawn for reimbursement.
    • Did not receive reimbursement from another source.
  • ACLS or PALS:
    • Notify chapter by December 31, 2011 of completion in 2011 calendar year.
    • Did not receive funding from another source.
    • The name of one LRC member will be drawn for reimbursement
