Saskatchewan Chapter
Current Member Count: 56
Saskatchewan is one of Canada's prairie provinces with a population of 1,010,146, with most individuals living in the southern half. The province's name comes from the Saskatchewan River, whose name comes from its cree designation: kisiskāciwani-sīpiy, meaning "swift flowing river". With Regina being the capital city of the province it is only fitting that the Saskatchewan Chapter be based out of here.
The province of Saskatchewan, city of Regina, is home to the RCMP Depot, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Western Agribition, the Royal Red, and many more festivals.
The Saskatchewan Chapter currently has four executive members sitting on the board and we are always looking for individuals interested in joining our team. Although all it's executive members are based out of Regina, the Saskatchewan Chapter has been communicative with all its members across the province through emails. The Chapter has been very busy with fundraising ideas. Upcoming events include a one day fall conference to be held in Regina on Nov 3, 2010 with a focus on trauma.
