Featured Chapter: Greater Edmonton
![]()
Greater Edmonton Chapter is our host Chapter for Dynamics of Critical Care 2010.
The Greater Edmonton CACCN Chapter has over 70 active members who like all our CACCN members, work hard to enhance the care of critically ill and injured patients.
The City of Edmonton is known as the “Oil Capital of Canada” and boasts a population of almost 1 million residents. Also known as Canada’s “Festival City”, Edmonton is home to over 30 festivals each year with a diverse arts/culture scene. The city is also home to Wayne Gretzky’s home tea for many years, the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Eskimos football franchise. The city’s location on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, allows Edmonton to show off it’s green space which is over twenty times larger than New York’s Central Park. Edmonton was named by West Jet as “one of Canada’s safest, cleanest and greenest cities”.
