Previous Funding for Chapters
Purpose of the CACCN Knowledge Fund:
To provide funding to CACCN Chapters to host an Educational Event designed to recruit new members and/or retain current members:

Educational events which provide professional networking (education day) and satellite chapter events (webinars) are examples of how the CACCN Knowledge Fund may be used.

Chapters may use the funds to support activities directly related to providing a chapter event including: discounted or full membership in CACCN, speaker fees, webinar fees, advertising and/or catering.

Available funds - $ 300.00 per chapter per fiscal year (April 1 to March 31)
Conditions:
-
Chapters may apply for funding under the CACCN Knowledge Fund once per fiscal year (April 1 to March 31 annually).

The CACCN Knowledge Fund monies must be used in the same fiscal year as requested (April 1 to March 31 annually).

Chapters must use the funds for the purposes indicated on the CACCN Knowledge Fund application.

When Chapters are providing free membership draws, the draw must take place at the Event from those present.
Postponement of the Event
Should the planned event be postponed, the Chapter is required to notify the CACCN Board of Directors in writing providing the following:

the reason for postponement;
-
the new scheduled date of the event and;
-
a copy of the new event notification and/or event brochure.
Cancellation of the Event

Should the planned event be cancelled, the Chapter is required to return the full value ($300.00) of the CACCN Knowledge Fund to CACCN National Office by the end of the fiscal year end (March 31 annually).
Application for Funding
Provide the following documentation to CACCN National Office:

CACCN Knowledge Fund Application Form;

Event notification form and/or event brochure;
-
Signed CACCN Knowledge Fund Guidelines.
