May 12, 2021 National Nursing Week: Thank you to our members! Happy Nursing Week #WeAnswerTheCall

While the fight against this public health crisis continues, never have we had such a stark reminder of the vital role that nurses play in our healthcare system. As the last fourteen months have demonstrated, the impact that nurses and critical care nurses have made on the health of Canadians cannot be overstated.

National Nursing Week was established to emphasize our profession’s accomplishments. This year, we are honouring the passion, compassion, courage, stamina, and commitment of critical care nurses across Canada and abroad. Despite the toll the pandemic has taken, you continue to deliver the best care possible for your patients and families. We acknowledge the sacrifices you have made and the challenging experiences you have endured – we see you; we hear you, and we support you.

Today, on International Nurses Day, “It’s Our Time” to recognize and appreciate our critical care nursing colleagues and to unite with the Canadian nursing community in celebrating our contributions to the health of Canadians.

Non, ils ne « gèrent » pas la situation et ils ne vont pas BIEN. La force de continuer commence à leur manquer. Sans eux, il n’y a plus de soins intensifs. C’est aussi simple que cela. Lire la suite…
